Individual Counseling
Individual therapy is a private, confidential meeting between a therapist and a client. Also referred to as counseling or psychotherapy, individual therapy is meant to help treat a variety of issues and concerns, including but not limited tostress, anxiety, addiction, depression, abuse, insomnia, anger and family challenges.
Family Counseling
Family therapy, or family counseling, allows the entire family unit the chance to address issues affecting everyone in a safe space. While other forms of therapy are designed to examine one single individual, family therapy focuses on the entire group and its dynamic, how all members function together. Please know, family therapy is not limited to those who are related to one another by blood or marriage; family members can also be considered those who play a significant and long-term role in the support of another.
Couples Counseling
Couples therapy is not individual therapy with two people in the room; couples therapy is intended to show both sides that they have every right to be heard, that they are both good people, and how their own missteps have helped create persistent, difficult patterns. Fortunately, if a couple has decided together to participate in sessions together, which is a good sign because it means that both parties likely want to repair the relationship.
GROUP THERAPY
We bring people together after carefully screening each individual to ensure the best possible fit for the group. Our group therapy sessions are led by a qualified, licensed professional counselor who has the education to teach new skill sets and practices to promote healing and recovery. Why choose group therapy? Group therapy offers you a strong sense of belonging, because you are surrounded by people who know what you’re going through because they’re going through something very similar themselves. It decreases the chance you will feel like an outsider! Listening to others share about similar circumstances it oftentimes helps you to gain more perspective about your own struggles. Leaving you feeling understood and hopeful knowing others have gone through the same or similar circumstance and survived.
